Car Accident

So one day a few months ago it was about 15 minutes after Ryan left for work, I got a call from him and this is what he was calling about:






It may not look like much, but it was totaled. These are the super nice rental cars we got to drive until we found a new vehicle, a Cadillac something and a Dodge challenger. We had a lot of fun with them, especially Ryan:



This is the new truck we got because of the accident. It has always been Ryan's dream truck and we got a really good deal on it from Craigslist:



He is way happy about the whole thing and I am too because our insurance actually went down. This was Ryan's favorite christmas present. We've used it once and had a lot of fun with it, it is very convenient also:

Christmas

We had a really good Christmas. We pretty much had a theme of camping, we got each other camping stuff and both of our parents got us camping stuff. It wasn't even planned. Here is our Christmas bounty:


I also got stuff for bottling and sealing food. Here is the quilt I made for my mom out of all her girls camp shirts from when she was in stake young womens.


These are the cute dresses I made for Ryan's nieces:

Sorry they are in the shape of an N, this was for a Christmas project for Ryan's sister, we made the girls into all the letters of their last name and framed it for her. Ryan's favorite present was a tent made to go in the bed of his new Tacoma (later post). We've already used it once and it was so much fun. He's pushing to go again any time now.

Anniversary

So February 21st was our 2 year anniversary. It sounds like a long time but it felt like no time at all. We've had our ups and downs and with all that's been happening in our lives lately it just keeps going up. We're at a point in our lives now that we are loving.
We didn't get to do much for our anniversary because it was my great Grandpa Jones' funeral, but we did go to dinner and play the Wii together. Cheesy I know but we have so much fun playing mario, it really does bring us closer together. We have set some goal for this upcoming year and are working to achieve them. We'll let you know next year how we did.
