Projects

We've been living with Ryan's mom and so we've taken up some projects around the house.

The first was sanding and painting the swing set, this is kind of a middle of the project shot.

This is an after shot, we decided to take the canopy off.

Our next project was getting rid of a palm tree out front.

We had lots of help from our friendly neighbors.

First we tried without digging but it wasn't working, so we went to work digging and soaking for a couple of hours

Later that night we had success pulling out the roots but we still couldn't get the stump out of the hole, it took a lot of tries.

We finally tried it from another angle, and with Ryan's help they were able to get it out and drag it around to the front yard for Ryan to cut up.

After moving it, Kerry Moncur had fun 4-wheeling in the front yard and Ryan really enjoyed it.

School

Well, Ryan's started school finally. We only had money for him to go so I'm not going this semester. He's taking a Children's Literature class online for his humanities credit. I took the class before and it is a lot of fun, and it's pretty easy, expecially when Ryan has me to help him out. Ryan finally started a job with a cleaning company called SOS Floorcare. He travels all around to clean office buildings. He pretty much only works a few hours in the evenings and during the day on weekends so he is still searching for a day job to supplement our income. He has a few intervews but nothing has come yet.

I am still working but am currently searching for another job with a better working enviroment and better pay. I'm hoping to get something closer to home.

We have yet to hear anything on our house, which is a good thing while Ryan is out of a job right now. We're just hoping he gets a job and the house is still available before the end of November so we can get the First Time Homebuyers Credit.

Other than that we are enjoying life and enjoying being closer to family and we're grateful that Ryan's Mom opened up her home to us while we get back on our feet.

Wedding

We were married February 21st 2009 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

We were surrounded by all of our friends and family.

This is all of my Family that attended the ceremony

And this is Ryan's. As you can see, mine is much bigger.

It was hard getting Ryan to stay serious

Our colors were red, white, and denim

And our theme was a picnic. This was our "cake". We served fried chicken, potato chips, potato salad, lemonade, and cookies for dessert.

These were the table decorations

All of the ants were made by my Dad, both Grandpa's, and an uncle, they did a really good job and I loved them.

My bridesmaids were my best friends Emmee Avens, Megan Waldusky, and Amanda Branson.

Ryan's groomsmen were friends and family: Brent Hancock, Kevin Hancock, Jason Morgan, Blaine Hancock, Jerry Rahm, and Kenny Hancock.

They like to have fun and mess around.

This is all of the wedding party.

Ryan wanted to see what our future family picture could look like (courtesy of his nieces Lydia and Alaina).

This is Ryan's Mom and Sister, Ranae and Shillene.

This is my little sister, we look a lot alike.

These are my four brothers.

My sister and sisters-in-law

Us three couples were all married within six months, my poor mom.

My Great-Grandparents, both in their mid-nineties.

This is our kitchen where family and friends cooked the fried chicken.

This group of friends was formerly known as Nabremka (the first two letters of all of our names).

Our moms tricked us with a fake cake which we tried to cut and found out it was a phonebook, then supplied us with a real one.

We drove away in Ryan's car filled with shredded paper and glitter.
