We Moved!

We finally got our own place off of Recker and Mcdowell. My Dad and I moved everything in last Friday so now I'm spending all of my time organizing and getting rid of stuff we don't need. I'm Working on getting pictures so that'll have to wait a little while. We love it so far it's a good area, but we don't know anything about our ward yet.

Ryan's Birthday!!

So Ryan turned the big 25 on Friday. His insurance rates go down! Yay! Just kidding.

We got to go to Logan's roadhouse on the night before for dinner with some friends of his. It wasn't as good as I expected and very over-priced for the amount of food you get. They didn't even do anything cool for his birthday.

He got some cool stuff like some new Wii games, a racquetball racquet, a shirt, a tie, some candy, a bike speedometer and some other stuff. He's been really into tractors lately so I attempted to make a tractor cake:

It didn't turn out anything like I hoped it would but it was still cute and he liked it so that's all that matters.

Fun this week!

So we've had a kind of vacation the last couple of weeks. We stayed at my Grandma's house for about a week while they were out of town and then at my parents for a little over a week while they were in Baltimore visiting Brandon and Katie.

This is Reuben who we were dog-sitting for my parents:

Ryan also started his new position at Banner Good Samaritan last week on the 21st. He is really enjoying it and all of the people he gets to talk to.

This is him in his uniform:

(sorry can't turn it)
We've also gotten hooked on Lost the TV show. We watched the whole first season in a week with Netflix. But, soon we won't have the WiFi for our Wii so we won't be able to watch and for a while.

We are starting to look for somewhere to move again and get back on our own. Wish us luck!

Not Moving!

Some things have happened and we had to put off moving for a few weeks. The owner wasn't very happy so, we may not be moving into the condo at all. I'll update as soon as I find out some more info.

Moving!!

We found a condo!!

It is on Sossoman and University, 2 bed 2 bath, we only pay $700 a month and that includes all utilities! We are so excited. We sign the lease on Friday the 25th of June and will be starting to move our stuff in the next day.

We have a community pool and my brothers and sisters are already planning on coming over to swim as much as possible.

I will post pictures as soon as we get in.

So here's the next of my very infrequent updates:

Ryan finally got a job! He works at Banner Desert as a food service worker in the cafeteria. He enjoys it except for the fact that on most days he has to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get to work on time. With the extra money coming in, our debts are getting closer to being paid and we will be moving within the next couple of months into our own apartment. Yay!

I was just put into Young Women's in our ward and I am loving it. I am the assistant Laurel Advisor. I'm really hoping I get to go to camp because it is my sister Mattie's first year. I start my Medical Transcription program in the fall and it should only take about a year and a half to finish it, so then I can quit my job at the chiropractor and work from home.

About a month ago we went camping with Ryan's best friend Jason and his wife Christina. It was a lot of fun, but we were all exhausted and frustrated. We took my Grandpa's quads and thought we would go on a ride on Saturday. We went 14 miles and it took us 7 1/2 hours to do it. the trail was very rough, we got lost when some people gave us bad directions, and one of the quads got a ginormous hole in the tire from a stick.

Here are the Quads

Here is the stick in the tire

For our memorial day celebrations we had a BBQ with Ryan's sister Shillene and her family. Ryan was our cook.

So, I keep getting bugged by people for not posting and I've been putting it off. Then, today I just finished a homework assignment on blogs as a form of communication. So I took the hint and here I go. :)

Well, we are still living with Ryan's Mom and Ryan is still looking for a full-time job. We are really close to paying off both of our cars and after we do hopefully we will be able to afford an apartment if Ryan has still not found a job.

We had our first anniversary on February 21st! Ryan bought me a new ring since my other one fell apart. We also rented a room at a golf resort for one night. We didn't get to enjoy it too much because we had a friends wedding reception that night and also we were babysitting. It was nice though to get out of the house though and spend time together. I took a picture of the ring but I will have to put it on later since I don't have it with me.

Ryan is working hard to get through school and also find a job. We both apply him for tons of places and he's had some interviews but nothing yet. I have to push him some to get him to do his homework and study, but he really tries. He's glad that he's making at least some money at the Gelato shop.

As for me, I just finished 2 of my online classes for this semester and I have 2 more to go. I will finally be able to start the medical transcription training this next semester. I watch Nathan Briggs from my parents ward once or twice a week after work while his parents go to different singing practices. I love this little boy! He is so much fun, he know every line of every movie by heart. His favorite movie is Cars so he has a room full of Cars clothes and toys. I have so much fun playing with him and putting him to bed. I still work for the chiropractor and have a part-time job looking for jobs for Ryan, If you hear about any jobs let me know. :)

New Year!

Things are starting to get crazy! Me and Ryan both started school full time. Mine is all online but Ryan has to go to Red Mountain MCC for 3 of his classes. I am still working at the chiropractor and Ryan started working for my aunt at her gelato shop.

We are trying to get back on our feet and find a place to rent, maybe a house maybe another apartment. We decided that we aren't going to buy a house for awhile until things are more stable. We are also trying to get both of our cars paid off so we won't have so many payments.

We had so much fun at Christmas. Brandon and Katie (and Mera) came down to visit. It was fun to get our whole family together again. We got way too much stuff than we need for Christmas and then had to go through the ordeal of finding somewhere to put it all.

New years day we drove down to Tuscon with my family for a horse-drawn wagon ride and a cowboy dinner in the desert with my dad's cousins.

On top of all this I've started babysitting a little boy in my parents ward almost every night of the week, so I'm hardly ever home. He's cute and fun and I get plenty of time to do my homework after he goes to bed so I'm enjoying it.

That's all I have for now, I'll try to get some more pictures up soon.
